Our GPS receivers are fully-compatible with the most common GPS language, NMEA 0183. 

Most of the GPS mapping softwares available use NMEA as the communication protocol.

If you are not sure about the software you already have, you can contact its manufacturer to check if it is NMEA compliant and can handle third party receivers.

Using USB Interface With Notebook, PC
1.Install USB Driver, PL2303 Driver
2.Check which COM port is USB driver convert to, see USB Driver user manual if you need to know the detail.
3.Plug USB cable to ELS GPS and your notebook or PC.
4.Running the suitable mapping/navigation software and select the correct COM port & band rate:4800,N,8,1 usually the COM port is COM3~COM8.
